Statement from the International Forum’s Palestine group:
No to the dissolution of Collectif Palestine Vaincra!
The French state has chosen to dissolve the Collectif Palestine Vaincra (The Collective Palestine will win). It is a huge attack on the Palestine solidarity movement in Europe, and in the world. In many countries, the pro Israeli lobby are trying to put pressure on governments to criminalize the Palestine solidarity movement in general and the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement in particular. It is framing support for the Palestinian struggle for freedom as anti semitic, even though this couldn’t be further from the truth. The Collectif Palestine Vaincra has played an important role in France, organizing campaigns, rising the issue of boycott and doing important solidarity work with Palestine.
We do not accept the criminalization of our comrades and the Palestine solidarity movement in general!
