Kom forbi vores folkekøkken til et lækkert måltid mad i solidaritet med det palæstinensiske folks kamp for frihed og retfærdighed – fra floden til havet.

Grundet tragedien i Gaza i maj vil overskuddet i denne måned gå til Al-Awda hospitalet i Gaza. Al-Awda er placeret i flygtningelejren Jabalia i det nordlige Gaza og er administreret af Union of Health Work Committees (UHWC).

Et måltid koster 50 kr, og menuen vil blive annonceret senere. Man kan betale med både kontanter og mobile pay.

Til folkekøkkenet d.21 har vi inviteret Internationalt Forums Mexicogruppe til at stå for en støttebar, hvor salg af drikkevarer vil gå til zapatisternes besøg i Danmark denne sommer. Zapatisterne er oprindelige folk fra det sydlige Mexico, der er organiseret i autonome områder ud fra principper omkring demokrati, kvindekamp, antiracisme og antikapitalisme. Folkekøkkenet støtter palæstinensiske grupper og initiativer ofte med fokus på palæstinensiske politiske fanger //

NEWS! International Forum KBH will host Palestine Community Kitchen in Folkets Hus every week in July.

** This is an event for community kitchen on July 21 at 6-8pm **

Did you also end up spending your summer holidays at home in Copenhagen, corona or not, then this is good news for you!

Come by our community kitchen for a delicious meal in solidarity with the Palestinian people’s struggle for freedom and justice – from the river to the sea.

Due to the tragedy in Gaza in May, all proceeds this month will go to Al-Awda Hospital in Gaza. Al-Awda is located in the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza and is administered by the Union of Health Work Committees (UHWC).

A meal costs DKK 50, and the menu will be announced later. You can pay with both cash and mobile pay.

On the 21st we invited International Forum’s Mexico Group to do a support bar next to our community kitchen. That means that proceeds from the bar will go to the Zapatista visit to Denmark this summer. The Zapatistas are indigenous people from the southern part of Mexico, that are organized in autonomous communities building on principles of democracy and self-determination, women’s struggles, anti-racism and anti-capitalism. Meet the group and hear more on the 21st.

The settings are provided by Folkets Hus, and the food itself is delicious and cheap.
